What do I need to upload?
A CSV or JSON file with an id, a title and a link for each item. Any other columns become searchable attributes.
Does my catalogue become public?
Yes. Search is for public catalogues: once your website is verified, anyone on your site can search what you uploaded. You're asked to confirm this when you switch Search on.
Why do I need to verify my website?
So your search key only works on your own site. Nobody else can embed your catalogue or spend your searches.
Can I control what comes first?
Yes. Rules let you put chosen items first, or hide items, for any search. You can check a search with and without your rules before it goes live.
Can it keep up with my website?
Yes. Import from your verified website once, then let Search re-import on a schedule. Pages your sitemap marks as unchanged aren't read again.
